The
Concierge Information System is available in the Concierge Menu,
Check-in and Reservations screens. It is a database designed into the System,
that allows the data to be input by the
hotel staff. This data can list and detail attractions in the area:
Restaurants, Tours, Shops, Churches, etc.
The
Information System can be accessed by the following criteria:
Record Number, Major or Minor Category, Site Name, Zone or rage of dates. A
Major Category may be Restaurant, the Minor Category may be
Italian. Zones can be coded as Distances:
1 = Short Walk, 5 = Long Drive (10 mi.).
Headings
for each category can be created to provide the appropriate details. All
may need: name,
address, phone, description and directions. However, a tour may list prices,
dates and hours of operation and a church would list services.
When the attraction is retrieved and brought to the screen it can
be printed and handed to the guest.
