The Corporate Accounting System is designed to be run at the corporate center, either a Hotel Management Firm or the Corporate Offices of a hotel chain. The Hotel Corporate Accounting Software provides the capability of processing more than one company, or hotel, on the system with routines to control which user can process each application on each company.

Financial Reporting - These functions generally require departmental statements, property statements and possibly, partnership or corporate financial statements. In hotels, statistical information such as room statistics, food and beverage covers, payroll hours, and source of business are required to provide management with tools for analyzing their operational profitability. These "statistics" are an integral part of the CSS Daily Report, Payroll and Financial Statement Systems.

The CSS Hotel Corporate Accounting System is designed to meet the needs of lodging properties and their management companies; and have been doing so since the '70's. All modules: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Daily Report, Fixed Assets, Payroll, General and Statistical Ledger and Financial Statements integrate directly to the General Ledger System, thus alleviating the necessity of redundant data entry.

Data Transmission - Each hotel in the managed group operating a CSS Full or Limited Back Office Accounting System can transmit all updated data, Daily Report, Accounts Payable, Payroll, etc. to the CSS Corporate Accounting System. Once reviewed by a corporate staff member, all data for that hotel is updated in the Corporate System.  

This is a two way data transmission.  Data pertinent to the hotel that has been updated by corporate is also transmitted back to the property to keep Accounting Systems synchronized. If, for example, Corporate is processing A/P for a Limited Back Office Accounting site, the site System is updated as invoices are paid by Corporate.

Consolidation - The data for all hotels can be consolidated virtually any way you choose: regionally, geographically, hotel brand, owner, and full financial statements are available in a variety of formats.

Based on your hotel(s) and/or corporate operational and accounting requirements, the CSS programs may be installed in various ways:

The entire set of programs offered by CSS has been designed to provide all operational and accounting requirements for hotels and their management companies. The ideal installation would be to have the CSS FRONT OFFICE and BACK OFFICE SYSTEMS on a computer network at each property with the CSS CORPORATE ACCOUNTING SYSTEM on a computer network at the corporate center. The systems provide automated front office operations and accounting functions at the property level with scheduled data transmissions to and from the corporate center.
