CSS Current Hotel Status

The CSS Current Hotel Status is one of the many inquiry routines you will have at your fingertips in a CSS System.  It provides up-to-the minute status of your hotel's rentable rooms, guest status, occupancy, and availability.  These statuses are broken out further into guest types and room/unit statuses.

If you keep a close eye on your hotel status, then you will love the way our Current Hotel Status Inquiry gives you updated information every 30 seconds as it is entered into your Front Office System throughout your property.  

When you click on each Current Hotel Status button, you can view detailed information about that status.  For instance, if you click on the field "Total Due In," under the "Units" column (below left, blue arrow), then the Guest/Reservations Inquiry screen will display the list of reservations that are scheduled to arrive today for those 14 units.  If you click on the "Vacant/Dirty" field (below right, red arrow) in the Housekeeping section, the Unit Inquiry screen will display the list of the 3 vacant and dirty rooms that need attention.

You may view more detailed information from all inquiry screens (example above) by selecting the desired record in the display grids.  For example, by double-clicking on any of the reservations in the grid you have instant access to detailed reservation accounts.  The same is true regarding detailed unit information.  Other options allow you to run additional searches, change the sort order of your search results, or return to the Current Hotel Status screen.
