CSS Hotel System Data Flow

The data flow at your property and between your property and corporate center depends on which CSS system, or combination of systems, you install.  Variations of your system data flow will exist depending on your specific needs and the specific products you install.  Because of the myriad of network, interface, and varied system configurations available, the following examples are basic CSS system data flow designs.  For example, interface data is not necessarily shown in the examples of data flow below.  However, most interface data (like point of sale and call accounting transactions) is posted generated and posted real-time to the guest accounts (folios) throughout the day.  During the night audit process all transactions are processed to the daily report.  The variation of your system configuration depends upon your corporate and property policies and procedures.

CSS offers three base systems as stand-alone systems or in combination to manage your data needs:
