The Folio History data tracked by the CSS System is a valuable resource for the Front Office and Accounting department.  A vast number of data fields are tracked in folio history: Last Date Here (From - To), Market/Group Code, Plan Codes, Room Types, Special Requests, Source of Business, Promo Codes, Location Codes, VIPs, City State or Zip/Postal Code.  All folio details can then be viewed by transaction codes, the date of the transaction, description, ticket number and amount.  You can also choose to display any corrected or transferred transactions.

Query options allow the user to compile a group of guests fitting specific search criteria.  A compiled query can then be added to; for example - include additional States to the existing query.

The user is able to omit specific folio types from the query, Incidental Only Folios for instance, and choose from Current, Checked Out, Cancelled or Prior History, Current Guest or Future Reservation. Prior History is Folio History that can be moved from the hard drive to diskette, however, the history on diskette can easily be accessed at any time.

All folio information is kept in history including any changes made to rates, revenues posted, etc. Of course, retrieving a folio for a specific guest is easy to do.
